Widow of Deceased Police Officer Sues Ford

Posted on October 12th, 2009 No Comments

The widow of a Euclid, Ohio police officer is suing the Ford Motor Company, claiming that engineering failures caused the 2007 death of her husband when the Crown Victoria cruiser he was driving crashed into a pole and then burst into flames.  According to the suit, the gas tank on the vehicle is prone to explosion, which is what directly caused the victim's death.  While a spokesman for Ford is adament that all of the cars produced by the company are engineered to the highest safety standards, the Euclid Police Department installed fire supression in all its Crown Victorias as a result of the incident.

If you or someone you love has been killed or injured in a car accident due to faulty engineering, contact Cincinnati wrongful death lawyer Shawn M. Stepleton by calling 513-321-7733 today.
