Tylenol recall of 2010 expanded

Posted on May 7th, 2010 No Comments

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, at the request of the Food and Drug Administration, have voluntarity recalled various children's medications which are currently not expired and are still being sold in many countries world wide.

The reason for the recall was that many of the medications, such as Tylenol, may contain a higher concentration of an active ingredient than the amount that is specified on the bottle. Others may contain particles or  inactive ingredients that may not meet internal testing requirements. McNeil Consumer Healthcare has not only recalled Tylenol, but also children's Motrin and Zyrtec. Look at the label on you children's Tylenol bottle to ensure that there bottle is not part of the recalled medications.
