The popular food producers, McCormick & Co., has voluntarily recalled thousands of boxes of Golden Dipt Tempura Seafood Batter Mix, after the box was not labeled as containing milk products.
The unlabeled product was the result of an error in packaging, as the wrong mix was placed into the box for Tempura batter. This mix contains milk and could be hazardous to anyone who has a milk allergy and unknowingly consumes this product. The batter mix has been recalled in several states, including Ohio.
There have been no reports of allergic reactions to the product. Anyone who has bought the product has been instructed to contact McCormick & Co., in order to receive a full refund.
