The Kroger Co. grocery store has announced that they will be recalling semi-sweet chocolate chips that are sold across the country.
The recalled product are the 12-ounce bag of Kroger Value Semi-Sweet Value Chocolate Chips because the product may contain milk. The product did not say this on the package and if eaten it could cause severe allergic reactions for people who have problems with lactose.
The product was sold at Kroger stores in the Greater Cincinnati area, Kentucky, Southeastern Indiana, Greater Memphis, Northern Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and more. The Kroger company is based in Cincinnati.
