The twenty-year old daughter of a Notre Dame girls basketball coach died on February 21, 2011, after a car accident.
The girl was the passenger in her father’s Chevrolet Tracker, as he drove her back to school for the spring semester. He lost control of his vehicle due to icy roads and the Chevrolet collided with an oncoming pickup truck. The pickup truck was driven by a twenty-four year-old man, who suffered minor injuries.
The father also suffered minor injuries and was treated at the local hospital. His daughter died at the scene of the accident.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the friends and family of the victim of this tragic accident as they go through this difficult time.
