Posted on April 22nd, 2011 No Comments

A contract worker who was working at the Central Utility Plant in Texas was burned by an electrical breaker on Wednesday morning, which caused a power outage at A&M University.

The worker was inspecting an electrical breaker at around 10:30 in the morning. For an unknown reason, the breaker malfunctioned and burned the man. This caused a power outage across the city of College Station, and A&M University was left without power.

The worker was taken to a hospital in San Antonio where he was treated in the burn unit. It has been reported that his injuries are not life-threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
